We still have a way to go, but these layouts are helping to set the overall direction. The design is an ongoing process and there may well be many changes up ahead!
Wiki Tribune Social brand design
Working with Jimmy Wales, the founder of Wikipedia, has been a lot of fun. The project itself has been enormously challenging but the results that we are getting are very encouraging.
Trying to create a system to rival Twitter seems like a ridiculous project, until you remember that Jimmy Wales is the force behind Wikipedia one of the biggest and most visited sites on the internet.
The logo tries to communicate ideas of transparency and thought. The coloured dots represent different areas of discussion merging and combining in a diverse world.
